Hear Remy Ma Fire Back at Nicki Minaj With Vicious 'Shether'

The war of words between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma escalated Saturday when the latter dropped "Shether," a vicious, seven-minute diss track using Nas' classic "Ether" beat and aimed at The Pinkprint rapper.

"Shether," with its artwork of a dismembered Barbie doll resembling Minaj, arrives a day after Minaj used her verse on Gucci Mane's "Make Love" to attack an unnamed rapper many assumed was Remy Ma.

"Talking 'bout bringing knives to a fight with guns / When the only shots you ever took was in your buns," Remy Ma says on "Shether," a response to Minaj's line about "trying to win a gunfight with a bunch of knives."

Over the course of the diss track, Remy Ma explicitly touches on Minaj's breakup with Meek Mill, suggests Minaj hooked up with Trey Songz (who denied Remy Ma's accusations following a brief Twitter spat with Minaj), Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane and many more, implies that the rapper employs a ghostwriter and even calls out Minaj's recent family issues; Minaj's brother Jelani Maraj will face trial on charges of raping a 12-year-old girl. If convicted, Maraj faced life imprisonment.

In response to Minaj's "Make Love" lyric, "You see, silly rabbit / To be the queen of rap / You gotta sell / You gotta get plaques," Remy Ma fired back, "Stop talking numbers / You signed a 360 deal through Young Money, through Cash Money, through Republic / Which means your money goes through five niggas before you touch it / Any videos, endorsements come out of your budget / Endorsements, tour and merchandise, they finger-fuck it / You make like 35 cents off of each ducket."

"Stop comparing yourself to Jay [Z], you're not like him / You a motherfucking worker, not a boss like Rem," Remy Ma added.

Until the next diss track arrives, Minaj responded Saturday with a pair of Instagram posts, the first poking fun at Remy Ma and Fat Joe's Plato O Plomo sales and the second that clip of Beyonce calling Minaj the "rap queen" to the tune of Prince's "Darling Nikki."
